Keyshawn Davis missed weight, so Abdullah Mason took his spot — and stole the whole night.
Mason (19-0, 17 KOs) beat down Namibian veteran Jeremia Nakathila (26-5) in front of a roaring Scope Arena crowd in Norfolk, Virginia, and stopped him at the start of round five. The fight, now the new headliner, aired live on ESPN and ESPN+ in the U.S. and on Sky Sports in the UK.
This kid’s only 21, and he just wiped out a grown man with a reputation. World titles? Mason says he’s ready now.
Albright spoils Davis night, Tiger shines again, Isley stays unbeaten
Nahir Albright (17-2) returned to Norfolk and shut down Kelvin Davis (15-1) with a deserved majority decision win — and yes, that 95-95 card was ridiculous. Albright jabbed, timed him, and landed all the clean stuff. Another Davis down.
Tiger Johnson cruised past Janelson Bocachica with a masterclass in range control and counter shots. Scores were 100-90, 98-92, and 97-93. Bocachica looked lost by the end.
Troy Isley held onto his NABO middleweight title by doing just enough to outpoint Etoundi William. Isley (15-0) landed the better combos, but William made it awkward. Scores: 98-92, 96-94 x2.
Keon Davis scores body shot KO, Cedeno and Deric Davis steamroll, O’Connor debuts in style
Keon Davis (4-0) battered Michael Velez with a left to the body that made him crumple. That’s two straight knockouts for Keyshawn’s little brother. Time: 2:22 of round two.
Dominican Olympian Euri Cedeño (12-0-1) punished Abel Mina and forced a fifth-round TKO when Mina quit on his stool.
Deric Davis (7-0) smashed Naheem Parker’s ribs with a brutal left hook for a second-round knockout. Seven fights, seven finishes.
Patrick O’Connor made his pro debut a violent one, folding Marcus Smith with body work in round two. Time: 2:03

Keon Davis got that same power his brother got but he actually making weight and knocking people out clean! I think he gonna pass Keyshawn soon if this keeps up 😤
@Bbennett facts! Keon looking more focused and hungry right now. Keyshawn better tighten up before his little bro become the main star.
Everyone keep talking about Mason but Tiger Johnson was slick as heck with his movement and timing. Bocachica looked like an amateur out there! Y’all sleeping on Tiger big time 🐅🔥
That judge who scored Albright vs Davis a draw must be blind or something 😡 Albright landed everything and Davis didn’t do nothing but walk forward getting hit.
How can people act like Mason just beat a nobody? Nakathila was known and had experience, so him losing like that proves Mason is the real deal. Age don’t matter when you that good.
But Nakathila already lost before this too, so it ain’t like Mason did something new. People hyping him too much just cause he young.
Nah man, Tcox wrong. Nakathila had power and was tested. Mason made it look easy cause he’s special, not cause the other guy weak.
I don’t care what anyone says, if Keyshawn Davis can’t make weight, then he ain’t serious about boxing. You supposed to be a pro but can’t even handle the scale? That’s weak to me. 🤷♀️
