Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams gets a shot at redemption and ranking power on Saturday, July 19 at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, when he takes on Etinosa Oliha in an IBF Middleweight title eliminator — part of the undercard for the Jesse Rodriguez vs. Phumelele Cafu unification fight, streaming live worldwide on DAZN.
Promoter Eddie Hearn calls it “the biggest night of [Williams’] career.” And he’s right. Williams needs this.
Ammo’s last shot? Oliha won’t be easy work
A year ago, Williams (18-1, 10 KOs) was stopped by Hamzah Sheeraz in Saudi Arabia and left to pick up the pieces. Since then? Three straight wins, two solid decisions, and now this — a make-or-break eliminator against the undefeated IBF #1.
Etinosa Oliha (21-0, 9 KOs) hasn’t fought in America, but he’s been grinding through the German circuit while stacking up a spotless record. He’s no puncher, but he doesn’t get hit either.
Williams isn’t sugarcoating it. “This time around, everything is aligned… I will completely break him, sending him back to Italy a changed man. This fight will not go the distance.”
Oliha, calm and calculated, kept it brief: “Austin Williams is the last step before a World title shot. I am very confident.”
Cardenas vs. Crowder delivers a real bantamweight scrap
Two unbeaten Americans will finally be tested when Arturo Cardenas (16-0-1, 9 KOs) drops to 118 and faces New York standout Dominique “Dimes” Crowder (18-0, 11 KOs) for the WBC and WBA Continental belts.
Cardenas already held one of those titles at 122. Now he’s trying to crash the bantamweight party. Crowder, a former two-time Golden Gloves champ, is chasing his first real pro spotlight.
Hearn likes what he sees: “Arturo’s clash with Dominique is a cracker… ‘Dimes’ gets the big stage he’s been craving.”

Honestly none of these guys proven enuff yet 😐 Too much hype from Hearn all time… lets see them fight real champs first before call biggest night or some ‘breakthrough’
They fighting to become mandatory bro that IS a big night smh… U can’t just skip to champs without eliminator first 🙃 rules matter
Austin say he going break Oliha but talk easy before bell ring 🙄 I seen enough boxer who shout then fall in ring.. Oliha calmness scary it show mental strong 💪
“Cardenas be moving down for right reason it not just about cutting weight it’s strategy!! He will carry speed & power wit him🔥 Also dimes untested at this level”
he already have title at higher class why risk? Speed ain’t same when u drained 🤒 This going backfire real bad watch!
Dominique fast hand but no defense!! Cardenas go break him down round by round.. No golden gloves gonna help when body shots come 😤👊
“i been follow oliha carrer since early fights in germany, guy is too smart in ring, dont need power if u never get hitt! Ammo rush things again and pay price soon”
“But oliha never fight nobody like ammo! German fighters slow pace n no pressure… He not prepare for american style 👊💥”
“just cause he dont get hit over there dont mean same here! levels different, Texas crowd loud and US refs stop fights quicker too 🛑📢”
‘Dimes’ Crowder gonna suprise every one!! Cardenas drop to weight too fast & dats dangerous! power not the same when cut weight wrong… Dimes gonna box slick n smart 📉
i dont agree with the hype on ammo williams 😡 he got beat hard by sheeraz and now you expect us to beleive he gon win against undefeated oliha? boxing not just about talk its about action.
Well action come from learnin mistake. Sheeraz beat him yes but growth came after that. Oliha no fight in US yet so pressure make diference 🥊
you forgot ammo’s last 3 fights? its call momentum!!! oliha not punch hard, how he gona hurt williams?? 🤔 think bfore post pls
Etinosa is very good boxer but i think not ready for fight like this. America diffrent from Germany and crowd is big. Williams has power and experiance even he lose before, that make him strong now.
