The Rematch Everyone’s Talking About
Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron are set to settle their rivalry on April 20, 2025, in a much-anticipated rematch after their dramatic first fight in Riyadh in 2024. Their initial clash, which ended in controversy with both fighters toppling out of the ring during the fifth round, will now have a clear conclusion. Whittaker, unable to continue, saw the fight go to the judges’ scorecards, resulting in a split draw.
Ben Whittaker: “This is my chance to give the fans a definitive result. There’s no room for controversy this time. I’m finishing it on my terms.”
Liam Cameron: “I was winning the first fight before that WWE moment. I believe I was about to stop him, but that’s history now. I’m ready to finish the job.”
Undercard Action
The rematch isn’t the only thrilling action on the night. The stacked card also features:
- Frazer Clarke (Olympic Bronze Medalist) vs Ebaneezer Tetteh
- Lee Cutler vs Sam Eggington – Super Welterweight Showdown

This rematch is pointless! Whittaker may have flashy style but it dont mean he can actually fight. Cameron shoulda won last time, so why does he even get another chance? It’s unfair to the other fighters!
I don’t see why evryone is so excited about this rematch. The first fight was a joke! Both fighters fell out of the ring, and now we expect them to do better? I think its just more hype.
