Fight Overview: Dubois Aims for Statement Win
Caroline Dubois: Looking to Dominate
Caroline Dubois (8-0-1, 5 KOs) captured the WBC Lightweight Title after Katie Taylor vacated the belt. In January, her first title defense ended in a technical draw against Jessica Camara due to a clash of heads.
Now, the 24-year-old returns determined to leave no doubts.
“Bo Mi Re Shin will be a tough challenge, but I believe I’m levels above. Women’s boxing is on fire right now, and I’m excited to be part of such an incredible event.”
Dubois first won the WBC Interim Title in August 2024, dominating Maira Moneo. With her relentless pressure and sharp combinations, she looks to cement herself as the top fighter at 135 pounds.
Bo Mi Re Shin: A Knockout Threat
Bo Mi Re Shin (18-2-1, 10 KOs) is a former WBC International Champion and a dangerous puncher. The 30-year-old South Korean has a high knockout rate, stopping 10 of her opponents.
“I have been preparing for this fight for two years. I am world number one for a reason, and on March 7, I will become world champion.”
Her only recent loss was a split decision defeat to Delfine Persoon, one of the toughest fighters in women’s boxing. Now, she’s ready to claim the biggest win of her career.

This event is historic for women’s boxing but I am not so sure if Dubois can handle Shin’s power. Also, we need to consider how much training Shin has done, it’s been two years! That’s impressive.
I dont think Dubois can win this fight. Shin is much more experenced and has a higher knockout rate. Just becuase Dubois won some fights doesn’t mean she is the best. Shin will prove that on the ring.
Another women’s boxing event? I’m tired of hearing about it. It’s just not exciting anymore. The same old story, and honestly, who cares?
I dont see why people are so excited. Dubois has only one draw, and that fight was a total fluke! Shin is gonna knock her out for sure. Women boxing ain’t what it used to be, they just hype it up.
This fight is gonna be historic, and you can’t deny that! Dubois has proven herself with her past fights, and Shin’s knockout rate should not be taken lightly. This event is a turning point for women’s boxing, we need to support it!
