Shields Makes History, Claims Third Undisputed Title
Claressa Shields continued her dominance in women’s boxing, securing a unanimous decision victory over Danielle Perkins to become the undisputed heavyweight champion. The judges scored it 100-89, 99-90, and 97-92, making it clear Shields was in control from start to finish.
The fight was an all-action affair, with Perkins proving to be a tough challenge early on. Shields, however, used her experience and superior skill to land the cleaner shots and wear down her opponent over 10 rounds. She even dropped Perkins in the final moments of the fight, capping off a historic night in front of her hometown crowd in Flint, Michigan.
“I felt strong in there. Danielle Perkins is very strong,” Shields said. “She was definitely a problem, but my skills and experience got me over it. I was so happy to perform at home. It was an amazing homecoming.”

Its crazy to say Shields is the best when there are many others in boxing with more challenges. Winning against one fighter doesn’t make you undisputed, you need to fight real competition not just easy wins.
I dont understand why people think Shields is so great. I mean she won, but it was just against Perkins who isnt even that good. She should fight someone way better to prove herself.
Honestly, this fight was more about luck than skill! Moore didn’t even fight well, and yet he wins a title? This is why boxing is a joke now. There need to be better refs and rules to fix this mess!
