In the main event of tonight’s ‘LA Friday Night Fights’ series, presented by Paco Presents and Golden Boy Promotions at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA, Eric Tudor (13-1, 7 KOs) held off a strong late surge from Kevin “Thunderstorm” Johnson (12-6, 8 KOs) to secure a hard-earned 10-round unanimous decision victory. The fight, streamed live on DAZN, saw Tudor battle through adversity after suffering a cut on his left eye in round seven, but he used his disciplined skills to edge out the upset specialist Johnson.
Tudor started strong, using his jab and precise right hands to take an early lead. However, Johnson began to find his rhythm in the later rounds, landing power shots while even showboating at times. Despite the rally, Tudor’s work in the early rounds had already put him far enough ahead. The judges scored it 98-92, 97-93, and 96-94 in Tudor’s favor.
Viloria Destroys Wong in Co-Feature
In the co-feature, super featherweight Justin Viloria (9-0, 7 KOs), nephew of former world champion Brian Viloria, put on a dominant display, stopping Alejandro Yung Wong (12-2, 6 KOs) in four rounds. Viloria’s lethal hand speed and power overwhelmed Wong, who was unable to withstand the onslaught. Referee Ivan Guillermo halted the fight at 1:29 of round four after Team Wong threw in the towel. Viloria looked a class above, and his performance suggests he’s ready for tougher challenges moving forward.
Robledo Battles Through Ettore in Majority Decision Victory
In a hard-fought eight-round super lightweight bout, Ricardo Sonny Robledo (11-0, 3 KOs) won a majority decision over Dante Ettore (11-2-2, 7 KOs). Robledo started strong with an aggressive attack, but Ettore came alive in the later rounds, landing power punches that made things difficult for Robledo. Despite Ettore’s late surge, Robledo’s consistent work early on earned him the win with scores of 76-76 (draw), 78-74, and 79-73.
Meza Edges Out Ramos in Bloodied Four-Round Decision
In a four-round super lightweight bout, undefeated Javier Meza (3-0, 2 KOs) won a unanimous decision over Luciano Ramos (2-9) in a gritty affair. Ramos, an MMA fighter who trains with Nate Diaz’s crew, bloodied Meza’s nose with some effective shots, but it was Meza’s sharper punches that earned him the victory. The judges scored it 60-54 twice, and 59-55 for Meza.
Majority Draw in Bantamweight Slugfest Between Serrano Romero and Cano
In an entertaining bantamweight battle, Larry Serrano Romero (3-4-2) and debutant Roy “El Principe” Cano fought to a four-round majority draw. Both men exchanged heavy punches throughout the fight, with Cano landing strong left hooks in the third and fourth rounds. However, Serrano Romero bounced back with effective combinations, and the judges ultimately saw it as a draw with scores of 40-36 for Romero and 38-38 from the other two judges.
Diez Stops Gonzalez in Two Rounds
The night opened with super lightweight Danilo “Gato” Diez (3-0, 1 KO) stopping Giovanny “El Monstrico” Gonzalez (2-7, 2 KOs) at 2:55 of round two. Diez dominated with disciplined punches, and Gonzalez was unable to withstand the pressure, forcing Referee Ivan Guillermo to stop the fight.

‘Justin Viloria just demolished Wong like wow!!🔥 His hands were faster then my WiFi an that ref stoppin was totaly rite call lol! That kid goin places fast 🏆 keep eyes on him!’
‘Serrano Romero vs Cano’ was a draw but it shows clear how styles make fights. Cano left hook was effective, but not enuff volume punchs overall to tip scale 👀 good match anyway.
‘Agree, Cano looked fresh early but faded quick after round two. Romero had grit even if record not fancy 📊’
‘True dat! Romero been slept on cuz his record ugly but he got them combo shots clean af 🔥’
I dunt see how that Tudor guy win so big, Johnson hit him hard in las rounds an he bleedin too. They just giv decision to da popular guy 😤 boxing fixed maybe.
Lol u sound salty, bro cudnt finish Tudor even with the eye cut. If u cant win, dont cry bout it 🤷
The cuts not matter wen the scores already in Tudors favor by round 6… Learn math before complaing bout boxing 🧠
Tudor fight wuz like realy intense but he shud of finsh it early instead of lettin Johnson back in it. 🤔 judges did gud job this time not lik last week where they robbed that other guy.
“A draw” for Romero-Cano? That’s a joke!!! Romero did all work while Cano throw two left hook n look tired after second round.. judges must have been watchin soccer insted ⚽🙃 total fail.
‘Meza win by points?? No way Ramos was hitting way harder n bleed Meza nose all over!! Meza only land soft jab n runnin 🏃♂️ whole time!! Boxing is rigged again… 🙄
‘Robledo vs Ettore’ was realy close fight imo.. Robledo start good but then get tired i think and get hit much by round 6-8.. Judges maybe too kind to him? Ettore deserve rematch!
I think is impresive how Viloria show elite hand speeds, genetic clearly help from his uncle 🧬👊! He dominate Wong completly, no compitition exist there… they shud give him bigger names now, like top 20 guy or so.
‘Bigger names’? lol bro calm down 😂 he just beat a guy who quit midfight. U want him in wit Shakur next week or what?
‘Genetic’ dont make u win a fight dude come on… He did good but lets not act like he superhuman cuz his uncle once had a belt 🙄
Tudor win but not even look like champ 😒 he just jab jab run away. Johnson was punchin real hard at the end! If there more round Johnson wuld of won for sure. Judges blind or what??
Yo but Tudor still got da skillz, he play smart not dumb brawler like sum of em. Eye cut an still finish strong, dats wat champions doo 💪
