A blockbuster summer of boxing is on the horizon, with several title bouts set to light up the sport’s biggest platforms. From the historic clash at Madison Square Garden to high-stakes world title fights in Frisco and Yokohama, it’s shaping up to be a summer of fireworks.

Hitchins Defends IBF Title Against Kambosos Jr. at MSG on June 14

Richardson Hitchins (19-0, 7 KOs) will return to the legendary Madison Square Garden to defend his IBF World Junior-Welterweight title against former world champion George “Ferocious” Kambosos Jr. (22-3, 10 KOs) on June 14, 2025. Hitchins, riding high from his dominant victory over Liam Paro, is ready to solidify his place at the top of the division. He’ll face Kambosos Jr., who famously defeated Teofimo Lopez to claim the lightweight throne but is now eyeing a second world title at 140lbs.

Hitchins is all business as he returns home:
“This is my time, my division. I plan on putting on a spectacular performance and showing the world I am one of the best on the planet.”
Kambosos Jr., returning to the scene of his greatest victory, is motivated and ready to take down the undefeated champion:
“I’m going to take his belt and break his will. He’s never faced anyone like me before. I’ll make it 3-0 at MSG.”

Bam Rodriguez Faces Cafu in Unification Bout at Ford Center on July 19

Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez (21-0, 14 KOs) is set to make waves as he takes on Phumelele Cafu (11-0-3, 8 KOs) in a WBC and WBA Super Flyweight unification battle on July 19 at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Rodriguez, fresh off an impressive 2024 campaign, will face Cafu, who clinched his world title in just his 14th pro bout.

Rodriguez is fired up to defend his status as one of boxing’s top pound-for-pound stars:
“I’m looking forward to unifying in another weight division. These kinds of fights bring out the best in me.”
Meanwhile, Cafu has his sights set on shocking the world:
“I’ll prove that no one is unbeatable. Beating Bam will put me on the pound-for-pound list, and I’ll be King of the division.”

In the co-feature, Diego Pacheco (23-0, 18 KOs) faces Trevor McCumby (28-1, 21 KOs) in a middleweight showdown, with both fighters aiming for a world title shot.

Teofimo Lopez Defends Title Against Arnold Barboza Jr.

Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs), the reigning WBO Super Lightweight Champion, is set to defend his title against undefeated contender Arnold Barboza Jr. (32-0, 11 KOs). The clash between the two undefeated fighters will surely be one for the ages, as both aim to solidify themselves as the best in the super lightweight division.

Lopez is pumped for another opportunity to make his mark:
“We’re going to go out there and do what I have to do. I’m going to have fun and beat the brick out of this boy.”
Barboza, who has long been one of the most avoided fighters, is eager to show that he’s ready for the elite:
“I’m very excited to share the ring with Teofimo. He’s an awesome fighter, but I’m an awesome fighter too. It’s gonna have some fireworks.”

Sugar Nunez Makes World Title Bid in Japan on May 28

Eduardo ‘Sugar’ Nunez (27-1, 27 KOs) will travel to Yokohama, Japan to face Masanori Rikiishi (16-1, 11 KOs) for the vacant IBF Super-Featherweight World Title. Nunez, the Mexican knockout sensation, is looking to add another world title to his name as he continues his rise to global stardom.
“I’ve worked my whole life to get here, and now it’s my time to show the world what I can do,” said Nunez.

The two first met in Philadelphia in November, where Gallegos claimed the title with a ninth-round stoppage. Coe will look to take the strap back on Gallegos’ home turf.

Also on the card, Gabriel Valenzuela (30-4-1, 17 KOs) and Christian Medina (24-4, 17 KOs) will headline with important regional matchups as they continue their climb up the rankings.
