In a thrilling announcement, Fighters First Management—led by President Jolene Mizzone and CEO Adrian Clark—revealed the re-signing of three boxing stars: WBO Welterweight World Champion Brian Norman Jr., top lightweight contender Justin Pauldo, and rising star Justin Figueroa. The press conference, held on Tuesday in the Atlanta area, marks a key moment in the career of these fighters, as they continue their journeys toward greatness with Fighters First Management.
Norman: The World Champion Who’s Just Getting Started
Brian Norman Jr. (27-0, 21 KOs), fresh off successfully defending his world title in March, expressed his excitement to continue his meteoric rise with Fighters First. The undefeated world champion, who will make his second title defense on June 19, 2025, in Japan against Jin Sasaki, reflected on the incredible journey with his team.
“It’s been a long but quick three years. We’ve faced adversity, but we’re still here. I’m a world champion now, and we’re still running,” said Norman. “I’m still rising, so for the future, we can only imagine how far we’re gonna go.”
Norman gave credit to his management team, highlighting the support from Jolene Mizzone and Adrian Clark, as well as his father, who has been training him since he was seven years old. “This is the dream that I pictured and that he made come true. I listened to him, and you see where we’re at.”
Pauldo: On the Brink of a Title Shot
Justin Pauldo (18-2, 9 KOs), currently ranked in the top 15 by both the WBC and WBO, is set to return to the ring on June 7, 2025, at an event in San Antonio, Texas. After an impressive eighth-round knockout of former world champion Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov in February, Pauldo is focused on his path toward a world title.
“We’re gonna finish this year strong and look forward to a lot of great fights in the lightweight division,” said Pauldo, who has made major strides in his career with Fighters First. “We’re looking forward to becoming a world champion.”
Figueroa: A Rising Star in Atlantic City
Justin Figueroa (12-0, 10 KOs), who has become a popular draw in his hometown of Atlantic City, will fight again on August 23, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. After a second-round stoppage victory over Mario Gaston Rios in March, Figueroa is ready to prove himself as a true contender, with the full backing of Fighters First.
“These past three years with Fighters First have been a blessing,” said Figueroa. “I’ve been enjoying my career so far and I’m looking forward to what’s next. I’m really excited to see what the future holds.”
A Bright Future for Fighters First
With these three fighters continuing their rapid ascents in the sport, Brian Norman Jr. believes the future is bright for Pauldo and Figueroa, both of whom are on the cusp of world championship titles.
“The three of us have come up these last three years,” said Norman. “Pauldo and Figueroa are gonna be champions, and we’re gonna have a lot more belts all lined up here.”
The Fighters First Team Is Ready for More
With Norman, Pauldo, and Figueroa signing multi-year contracts with Fighters First, it’s clear the future is bright for both the management team and the fighters they represent. As these stars continue to shine, Fighters First is setting the stage for a new era of champions
