Fundora Looks to Cement His Reign as Unified Champion

Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs) makes his first defense of the WBC and WBO Super Welterweight World Titles against top contender Chordale Booker (23-1, 11 KOs) in a high-stakes showdown on March 22.

Known for his relentless pressure and crowd-pleasing style, Fundora became a unified world champion after defeating Tim Tszyu last year in a brutal war. Now, standing nearly 6’6”, the Coachella, California native aims to solidify his dominance at 154 pounds against the highly skilled Booker, who enters the bout on a six-fight winning streak.

Sebastian Fundora: “I’m preparing really hard to defend my unified WBC and WBO world titles on March 22 in Las Vegas. Expect to see me give my all in the ring like I always do. ‘The Towering Inferno’ is back, and I’m coming to take out anyone in my way.”

Booker, ranked No. 5 by the WBO and No. 14 by the WBC, has worked his way up the rankings with impressive performances, including wins over Greg Vendetti and Brian Damian Chaves. The Stamford, Connecticut native is eager to seize his first world title opportunity and pull off a career-defining upset.

Chordale Booker: “I’ve worked my whole life for this. I’ve fought on short notice, taken fights for less, but I always kept pushing forward. On March 22, I’m ready to take my moment and prove I belong at the top.”

Jesus Ramos Jr. vs. Kevin Salgado – 10-Round Super Welterweight Co-Main Event

In the co-main event, one of Mexico’s most exciting young stars, Jesus Ramos Jr. (22-1, 18 KOs), returns to face all-action contender Kevin Salgado (17-2-1, 10 KOs) in a guaranteed slugfest.

Ramos, coming off a devastating knockout win over former champion Jeison Rosario, is eager to continue his march toward a world title shot. Meanwhile, Salgado, the younger brother of ex-world champion Juan Carlos Salgado, has back-to-back stoppage wins and looks to derail Ramos’ momentum.

Jesus Ramos Jr.: “This is the kind of fight I love – two Mexican warriors going at it. I’ve been training hard, and I promise the fans an explosive performance.”

Kevin Salgado: “This is my shot to prove I belong at the top. I respect Ramos, but on March 22, I’m coming to win and shake up the division.”

Elijah Garcia vs. Terrell Gausha – 10-Round Middleweight Bout

The card opens with a clash between rising middleweight star Elijah Garcia (16-1, 13 KOs) and former Olympian Terrell Gausha (24-4-1, 12 KOs).

Garcia, just 21 years old, is looking to rebound after suffering his first career loss to Kyrone Davis last June. With victories over Amilcar Vidal, Kevin Salgado, and Armando Resendiz, Garcia has already proven he’s one of the top young talents at 160 pounds.

Gausha, a 2012 U.S. Olympian, has been a tough test for many top fighters, including Tim Tszyu, Erickson Lubin, and Erislandy Lara. The experienced Cleveland native knows a win over Garcia could propel him back into title contention.

Elijah Garcia: “I’m not just coming back – I’m coming to dominate. I’ve been working hard in camp, and on March 22, I’ll show why I belong at the top.”

Terrell Gausha: “I’ve been in there with the best, and this is just another challenge. I’m going to remind everyone why I’ve been at this level for so long.”
