It was one of those nights where every punch felt personal.
Bridgeport’s unbeaten prospect Jacob “Lefty” Marrero (11-0, 8 KOs) made a violent statement inside the sold-out Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino, icing Argentina’s Emiliano “Pac Man” Garcia (19-12-1, 13 KOs) in round two of a scheduled six-rounder.
The card wasn’t just another small-hall show — it marked the first-ever live broadcast on Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s TMT Digital Network. The vibe was raw, loud, and half-mad, just how the fight gods like it.
Marrero: Left Hook, Lights Out
Marrero looked locked in from the walkout. Southpaw stance, zero nerves, just that cold look fighters get when they already know how the night ends. One knockdown came early in the first, but it was the left hook–right hand combo in round two that folded Garcia in half. Ref didn’t need to count. Time of death: 2:42.
That’s Marrero’s third win of 2025, all by stoppage. The kid’s not here to pad a record — he’s here to send messages.
Augere Flattens Gotti III – Short Notice, Long Night
The biggest noise of the night wasn’t Marrero’s punch — it was Daniel “The Eagle Catcher” Augere shocking the world by stopping John Gotti III cold in the third.
The Montana brawler, representing the Blackfeet Nation, got the call late when James Hagler Jr. pulled out injured. Everyone figured he’d show up, swing, and fold.
Instead, Gotti started sharp, snapping Augere’s head back with hooks and right hands. Looked like a routine win. Then it turned nasty.
After dropping Augere early in the third, Gotti got reckless — and the underdog detonated a left hook from hell. Gotti hit the deck, tried to rise, but his legs said no. Ref waved it at 1:37.
Pure theatre. Pure violence.
Stevie Jane Coleman – Ice Cold, All Business
No drama, just domination. Stevie Jane Coleman (7-1, 2 KOs) boxed Bonnie Hunter’s ears off, sweeping every round. Jabs, body shots, and a tempo that screamed confidence. Judges saw it 60–54 across the board, and nobody complained.
Coleman’s the type who doesn’t need to talk — her hands do the shouting.
Kevante Wineglass Blasts Berdugo Out in Seconds
“King” Kevante Wineglass (2-0, 1 KO) didn’t waste anyone’s time. Two minutes, forty-one seconds, and Yeison Berdugo was practically halfway out the ropes. The Waterbury prospect is fast becoming a problem — the kind of kid you don’t want to spar, never mind fight.
Amelia Moore Schools UFC Vet
Amelia Moore (3-0, 1 KO) proved class and patience beat brawling hype. She dropped UFC veteran Victoria “The Fury” Mason in the fifth and cruised to a unanimous nod. Scores: 60-53 twice, 59-54 once. Easy work.
Nieves vs. Da Silva – One Round, All Carnage
If you blinked, you missed Anthony “The Enforcer” Nieves (2-0, 1 KO) turn a boxing ring into a riot.
Da Silva came swinging like he meant business. He left carried out after 74 seconds of chaos. A right hook ended it, and the ref saved him from worse. Fans called it Round of the Year, and they weren’t exaggerating.

It’s cool Floyd got his own network now but this show wasn’t all that. If he wants people to watch, he needs better matchups. Most of these were just setup fights. 😤
Facts. If you already know who’s gonna win, what’s the point in watching? It felt like a commercial for future stars, not real fights.
People keep saying this was a great card but let’s be honest, most fights were one-sided. Only two fights were really competitive. Don’t call it amazing if half the guys didn’t belong there.
Why people acting like Nieves is some killer? That fight was just a wild swing fest, no skill at all. He just got lucky Da Silva didn’t know how to block.
I agree with that. Nieves just threw wild shots till one landed. That ain’t real boxing skill, that’s just chaos. 😒
Still, a win’s a win. He got power and excitement. That’s what fans want even if it’s messy. Better than a boring fight.
Moore only looked good cause Mason is from UFC not boxing. That don’t count as a big win. Get her in there with a real boxer and see what happens. Don’t overhype her yet.
Wineglass looks good and all but let’s be real, that fight was way too easy. Berdugo looked like he never trained. Let’s see Wineglass fight someone that actually punches back.
Exactly! These guys get hyped for beating nobodies. When he fights someone ranked, we’ll see if he still looks like a ‘problem’.
I think Coleman was boring to watch. Just jab jab jab, no real power. Yeah she won but boxing is supposed to be exciting. Fans want knockouts, not just dancing around the ring all night.
Everybody’s hyping up Augere like he a superhero or something. He got lucky, Gotti was winning until he got careless. One punch don’t prove nothing if you was getting beat before that.
No man, Augere earned that. Gotti got cocky and paid for it. You don’t leave your chin out and expect not to get dropped. That’s just dumb fighting. 🤦
Harry, nah bro. Gotti ain’t no real fighter. He got a big name cause of his grandpa. Augere actually fights with heart, not just a name. 💯
I don’t get why people act like this Marrero guy is some kind of legend already. Sure, he won fast, but the guy he beat had 12 losses. That don’t make you the best yet. 🤷♂️
