Jaron Ennis vs. Eimantas Stanionis headlines a major night of boxing this Saturday, live from Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, and streaming worldwide on DAZN. In a high-stakes welterweight unification bout, IBF champion Ennis (33-0, 29 KOs) meets WBA titleholder Stanionis (15-0, 9 KOs) with the Ring Magazine belt also on the line.
Ennis: “I’m Here to Put Hands on You. That’s It.”
Ennis, 27, enters the biggest night of his career locked in and unbothered by outside noise. With his sights firmly set on becoming undisputed welterweight king, he knows Stanionis is a serious obstacle — but one he believes he’s fully prepared to overcome.
“I’m here to collect all the belts, and I’m locked in on Stanionis,” Ennis said. “Win on Saturday and I’m the WBA, IBF and Ring Magazine champion.”
“I’m not trying to talk or go back and forth on the internet. I’m here to do one thing — put hands on you.”
“No matter what I do, people always have something to say. I pitch a shutout — they say I should’ve knocked him out. I knock someone out — they question my gas tank. I’m locked in on me. That’s it.”
Coming off victories over David Avanesyan and Karen Chukhadzhian, Ennis says the mandatory defenses have made him smarter — and hungrier.
“The Chukhadzhian fight was hard because I beat him 12-0 and we were forced into that just to keep the IBF belt,” he explained. “That fight made me smarter in this camp. I’m excited. I’ll show out for sure.”
Stanionis: Dangerous, Underrated, and Unbeaten
While Ennis is the favorite, Stanionis has never been beaten and holds a physically imposing style that’s troubled top-tier opponents before. The Lithuanian star carries power, patience, and grit — and sees this as his chance to take over the division.
Co-Main: Raymond Ford Returns at 130 lbs
Raymond Ford (16-1-1, 8 KOs) continues his run at Super-Featherweight, facing Thomas Mattice for the WBA Continental North America title. The former 126-pound champion is looking to rebuild momentum after a narrow loss to Nick Ball in June.
“I’m coming for that second World title,” said Ford, who previously shocked Otabek Kholmatov with a last-minute KO.

I dont understand how people can say Ennis is gonna win easy. Stanionis is unbeaten and has skills that can surprise anyone. Just because Ennis has more KOs dont mean he automatically wins. Boxing is not just about power, its also about strategy and stamina, which Stanionis has!
Honestly, I think both fighters got their strengths but it’s realy about who can adapt first in the fight. Stanionis might be underdog but that just makes him dangerous, like a cornered animal.
I don’t get why people is saying Ennis gonna win. Stanionis never lost, he is strong and not easy to beat. Just because Ennis has more fights don’t mean he is the better fighter, you know.
But you can’t just ignore the fact that Ennis has way more knockouts! He’s clearly been training hard and knows what he doing in the ring. Stanionis might be tough, but skills matters too!
