Hurd and Lopez Headline PBC on Prime Video Prelims
Jarrett Hurd vs. Johan Gonzalez – Middleweight Showdown
Former unified 154-pound world champion Jarrett Hurd (25-3-1, 17 KOs) returns to the ring against hard-hitting Johan Gonzalez (34-4, 33 KOs) in a 10-round middleweight clash.
Hurd, once known for his relentless pressure and volume punching, is looking to rebuild his career after drawing with Jeison Rosario last August. The 34-year-old previously unified the WBA and IBF Super Welterweight titles by defeating Erislandy Lara in the 2018 Fight of the Year.
“I’ve been working hard as ever to end my career the right way, back on top where I belong. I’m going in there to make a statement.” – Jarrett Hurd
Gonzalez, a Venezuelan power puncher based in Las Vegas, boasts a 97% knockout ratio. Despite recent losses to Yoenis Tellez and Jesus Ramos, he remains a dangerous opponent for anyone at 160 pounds.
“I’m not focusing on my opponent, just on being the best version of myself. I have to demonstrate my skills. Nothing else matters.” – Johan Gonzalez
Jonathan Lopez vs. Alex Dilmaghani – Super Featherweight Showdown
Jonathan “La Roca” Lopez (17-0, 12 KOs), a fast-rising 21-year-old trained by Eddy Reynoso, looks to take another step toward a world title shot as he faces British contender Alex Dilmaghani (20-3-1, 7 KOs) in a 10-round super featherweight bout.
Lopez has been on a tear, stopping 10 of his last 12 opponents and showing rapid development under Reynoso. The Puerto Rican dominated Richard Medina last September, scoring a late knockdown en route to a unanimous decision win.
“This is a perfect opportunity to showcase my talent. I have to show everyone that my time is now.” – Jonathan Lopez
Dilmaghani, a seasoned veteran from Manchester, England, has fought worldwide, including in Mexico, Canada, and France. The southpaw suffered a loss to Rene Tellez Giron in June 2024 but remains confident in his ability to cause an upset.
“If people are sleeping on me, they’re going to be surprised. I’m training hard to make sure I steal the show.” – Alex Dilmaghani

Lopez is clearly more talented than Dilmaghani, but this guy is experienced and can surprise. Its not just about skills, its also about the mindset in the ring. Expecting a tough fight no matter what.
I dont understand why people think Hurd is gonna win. He has been loseing too much. Gonzalez is very strong and he have many KO. Hurd better not underestimate him, or he will lose badly.
