Australian top-contender Liam Paro stopped Jonathan Navarro via fifth-round corner retirement at the Cairns Convention Centre  today, in a punishing No Limit Boxing main event. The card streamed live and featured a string of finishes, including Callum Peters’ 92-second TKO and a decision win for Liam Wilson over a gritty Ayrton Gimenez.

Main Event – Liam Paro vs Jonathan Navarro Full Fight Result

Paro broke Navarro down round by round with straight lefts and clean pressure. In Round 5, a heavy left hand sent Navarro reeling. He barely beat the count but was trapped on the ropes, forcing the corner to stop it.

This keeps Paro undefeated and squarely in the mix for major names. Post-fight, George Rose called out Lopez, Garcia, and Cruz—clearly, they want real smoke next.

Liam Wilson Outpoints Ayrton Gimenez in Tough Decision

Wilson went ten rounds with Argentina’s Ayrton Gimenez and came out ahead on all cards: 98-92, 97-93, and a closer 96-94. His jab and mid-range control gave him enough edge, though Gimenez finished strong.

Wilson now pushes for a rematch with Emanuel Navarrete, following their controversial first fight. If that happens, expect more grit than polish.

Callum Peters Knocks Out Luca Lanigan in 92 Seconds

Callum Peters doesn’t waste time. He blitzed Lanigan with relentless pressure, forcing the ref to step in just past the one-minute mark. That’s now three first-round finishes in a row for the young middleweight.

Peters wants a shot at Xavier Fletcher for the Aussie title. Fletcher responded after the event—he’s in, but only after his July defense.

  1. Vegas Larfield got lucky with that decision cuz Cabrillos was landing better shots late on 💢 judges be blind sometimes I swear.

    • I agree! I thought Cabrillos had it in the bag until that weird knockdown call changed everything 😤 total robbery.

  2. All these fights felt rushed like they tryna make people look better than they are fast. Real boxers go distance and show heart not just quick stoppage fights every time.

  3. George Rose calling out Lopez and Garcia is dumb cause Paro ain’t on their level yet. Let him fight someone actually ranked high before talkin about ‘real smoke’ 🔥

  4. They keep sayin Kirra Ruston is a rising name but who even is Kartik Kumar? Knockin out some unknown fighter don’t mean you ready for big things yet 🙄

  5. Callum Peters beat Lanigan too fast for us to know if he’s really that good. One minute don’t prove nothin’, especially when we never heard of Lanigan before 🤷‍♂️

    • True bro, fighting nobodies fast don’t make you great. Show us a real match first before all this title talk 💯

    • People act like one punch means you’re a star. Nah, you need to show skill for more than 90 seconds or it don’t count as impressive to me.

  6. Wilson winning by decision don’t mean he better than Gimenez. I think Gimenez fought harder in the end rounds, and judges just picked Wilson cause he’s from Australia 😒

    • Exactly! The scores were too wide for how close the fight was. They always do this when it’s a home fighter involved, makes it feel rigged sometimes.

  7. I don’t get why people are hypin up Liam Paro so much. He only won cause the other guy’s corner gave up. That ain’t real power or domination. It’s just luck and timing, that’s all.
