Melikuziev drops Fulghum in 12th, wins brutal war in Las Vegas

Bektemir Melikuziev took Darius Fulghum’s 0 and maybe his soul in a savage 12-round eliminator that left no doubt who belongs at world level. Fighting through a cut, a point deduction, and a relentless pace, Melikuziev pulled out the win the old-fashioned way — by grinding it out and dropping Fulghum in the final round to seal it.

The judges had it right. In front of a fired-up crowd at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, the Uzbek southpaw bullied Fulghum through brutal exchanges and came out on top.

“This win means everything,” Melikuziev said after the brawl. “We dealt with a tough camp and a baby on the way — but I’m ready for Caleb Plant or anyone else. Let’s go.”

Priest schools Arias, Edwards obliterates Rhodes

Eric Priest kept his unbeaten record intact and shut down veteran Luis Arias over ten lopsided rounds. Arias got docked a point for dirty shots, got sliced open by a punch in round three, and never found a rhythm. Priest boxed clean, never panicked, and made it look easy.

Scores: 99-90 twice, and 96-93 for good measure.

Olympian Joshua “Rocket” Edwards? He didn’t need rounds. Just one punch — a right overhand — to sleep Alexander Rhodes in the first. Clean. Done. Sit down.

Knockouts, body shots, and blood: the undercard delivered

Federico Pacheco Jr. had to work harder but still stayed perfect. Calvin Barnett held, leaned, and stalled all night, even got penalized. But Pacheco did enough to win every scorecard 58-55.

Cayden Griffiths stayed 100% KO with a sick fourth-round finish of Edgar Gutierrez. One right hook and it was over. Yuma never saw it coming.

Grant Flores did what he was supposed to do — hand Brandon Campos his first loss and bust his face open. Ref waved it in the fifth after Flores carved up Campos under the left eye.

Santiago Dominguez might be the most violent man at 154 pounds. He flattened John Moralde with a left to the body in round two. That was it. Vicious shot, walk-off win.

Daniel “Junebug” Garcia closed the night with a wide unanimous decision over Camilo Rodriguez. Not flashy, not messy — just eight rounds of control and clean work.

  1. Griffiths KO was nastyyy 😵 but Gutierrez defense was TRASH, he stand there eat punches like lunch bro cmonnnnnnnn train better next time man!!! boxing need both fighter ready.

    • Facts Georgia51 👍 ppl blame Griffiths for easy win but it Gutierrez fault to step in unready… professional mean act professional!

  2. Why did Flores fight stop so quick? Cut under eye is part of boxin 🙄 ref shud let him continue until TKO real not jus because blood show up smh weak stoppage fr.

    • Safety first alwaysss!! Eye cut deep n ref save his career maybe! Not worth risk go blind jus for pride in ring 🙅‍♂️ live fight another day!

  3. ‘Dominguez’ look scary frfr 💀 one body shot and it game over?? That power ain’t normal… testing needed maybe?? Not accusing but come on bruh this beyond human 😬💉.

    • Brooo you sound like hater 😂 som guys just got freak power dont mean they cheat lol its genetics an trainin mix duh!!

    • Nahh I feel Yturner point.. it’s fishy when all KO’s like that wit body shot outta nowhere… even top pros dont fold so fast like dat 🚩

  4. ‘Priest’ is boring boxer sorry not sorry! He just jab jab run jab… like why watch ten round of that? Fans pay for action! Not school project 📚😒.

    • @Simpson Lindsay u wrong completley!!! boxing is bout skills not juss punch hard. Priest showed masterclass defense an controlin distance 😤

    • @Ugray some truth but still agree he need more agression or people will fall sleep 🤷‍♀️ skill alone no entertain casual fans.

  5. ‘Rocket’ Edwards win too quick 😳 Is that skill or luck?? One punch and fight over dont teach nothing we need see more rounds to know he real deal or not.. Just hype maybe?

  6. Bektemir was gud yes, but refree too much bias I think. Point taken unfairly, they only want him win cause name or country 😠 if roles switch would they do same?? 🤔

    • Noooo!!! point deduct was right!! fulghum hit low 2 time and hold to much. u cant let that pass even if he losing! sport gotta be clean!!

    • I agree Isabelle.. I saw clearly how judge no call fouls when Melikz push with elbow.. it’s favoritism in bright lights 👀 no question it change result.

  7. No way thiss was fair fight. Fulghumm look tired from start, its maybe because training not same level? They shouldnt match them when one guy obviously not prepard. 🥴 This aint sport its just punishment.
