Most Valuable Promotions just added a few more scraps to the Most Valuable Prospects 12 card going down Friday, May 9 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando. The whole event’s free to stream worldwide on DAZN.com and the DAZN app — no subscription needed.

Sliding onto the main card is 19-year-old WBO Youth World Champ and 18x national champ Kaipo Gallegos (8-0-1, 6 KOs), who’s taking on tough Mexican fighter Pedro Castaneda (8-0-1, 5 KOs) in an 8-round super featherweight fight. Both guys are unbeaten, and with Castaneda known for staying on the front foot, this one should be lively.

Kicking things off on the main card is MVP’s newest signing, Nat “No Love” Dove (5-0, 1 KO), a 23-year-old who racked up 15 amateur national titles. She’ll be squaring up with Nayeli Rodriguez (3-0) from El Paso in a 6-round bantamweight fight. Dove fights with the same rules as the lads — three-minute rounds — and she’s been walking through everyone so far. This is Rodriguez’s first U.S. scrap, so she’ll be looking to spoil the party.

The main event’s still locked in: Dainier “The Fear” Pero (10-0, 8 KOs), the unbeaten Cuban Olympian, is back in the ring to defend his streak in a 10-round heavyweight fight for the WBA Continental USA title. He’s up against heavy-hitter Cesar Navarro (13-2, 11 KOs), so expect some big shots.

Also on the main card, local lad Corey “2Smoove” Marksman (10-0-1, 7 KOs) is putting his clean record on the line against Huntington Beach scrapper Tayden “The Butcher” Beltran (10-0-1, 5 KOs) in an 8-round lightweight bout at 135.

On the prelims, fan-favorite Ariel “Golden Hulk” Perez (6-0, 4 KOs) is back after some brutal knockouts earlier in the series. He’ll face Mario Bedolla (4-3, 3 KOs) from Michoacán in a 6-round light heavyweight scrap at 175.

Also joining the lineup is another new MVP signee, Alexander “The Alley Cat” Gueche (7-0, 5 KOs). He’s a 2x amateur national champ with a solid punch and sharp footwork, stepping in for a 6-round bantamweight bout at 118.

Elise Soto (7-0, 7 KOs) — 19 years old, pure knockout record — takes on Colleen Davis (4-2-1, 1 KO) at super featherweight, and Quincy Williams (4-0, 4 KOs) brings his power to the welterweight division in a 4-rounder.

There’s also a pro debut from 18-year-old David Ramirez Lima, and Jeremy Adorno (9-1, 5 KOs) returns to face Jonathan Gabriel Pachado (6-1, 2 KOs) in a featherweight 6-rounder.

MVP’s Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian said they’re glad to bring Dove and Gueche into the squad — both fighters have something to prove, and they’re not here to coast. With a full night of action lined up, this card’s about giving proper chances to the next wave of talent in boxing.

Tickets are already up at Ticketmaster.com. Fight goes down May 9 — don’t miss it.

  1. Why did I read this whole article when I could’ve just watched paint dry?! Next time let’s just skip ahead to the results cause who cares about unbeaten records anymore?! 😂😂😂

  2. People need too stop acting like boxing is dead! These fighters bring excitement and energy back into the sport even if you don’t like em!

  3. I think its great that MVP is showcasing new talent! 💖 Boxing needs fresh faces, and its good to see young fighters getting their chances on big cards!

  4. *Yawn* another boxing event where everyone is undefeated? What’s the point? It’s like watching paint dry waiting for someone to lose for once. Can we have some real competition please?

    • *Sigh* so true! It feels like they are just recycling old news over and over again without any real drama or excitement.

    • You know what’s funny? All these boxers with zero losses act like they’re invincible, but one punch can change everything! 😂

  5. I think this card is actually pretty interesting! The young talents and the undefeated records show potential for some exciting matches! Can’t wait to see how they perform in the ring! 📅💪

    • ‘Potential’? Most of these fighters have never fought anyone good! Undefeated records don’t mean much when you look at their opponents, right? It’s all a bit misleading if you ask me.

  6. This is such a waste of time. Most of these fighters are nobodies. Who cares about their records? It’s all just hype and no real substance. Boxing used to be great, now it’s just disappointing.

  7. Wow, I can’t belive the line up! So many unbeaten fighters, its like a dream come true for boxing fans! Can’t wait to watch it live on DAZN. This is gonna be epic! 🎉

    • It’s nice but like, do we really need more fights? Just seems like they are trying to fill air time rather than showcase real talent. Just my thoughts.
