Paul vs. Chávez Jr. and Taylor vs. Serrano III land in pubs near you

If you thought Jake Paul was done cashing in after last year’s Tyson circus, think again. Joe Hand Promotions (JHP) and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) are back at it, dragging two summer cards into every bar, casino, and sports dive across North America. Get ready for more hype, more spin, and—maybe—a little action if we’re lucky.

First up: Saturday, June 28. Jake Paul takes on Julio César Chávez Jr. live on DAZN PPV. Yep, Chávez Jr.—the guy boxing fans love to roast for wasting talent and living off his dad’s name. But hey, he’s a “former middleweight world champ,” and Paul’s marketing machine will squeeze every bit of juice out of that.

Backing up the main event, we’ve got Gilberto Ramirez—WBO and WBA cruiserweight champ—going toe-to-toe with Yuniel Dorticós, Cuba’s former champ and current WBA mandatory. At least this one promises some real bombs. Expect the Mexican fans to be loud and loaded wherever this is streaming.

Then, two weeks later, on Friday, July 11, MVP shifts gears for a history-making night at Madison Square Garden. Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano III tops the bill—the first-ever all-women’s card at MSG and streaming globally on Netflix. It’s a trilogy fight with legit stakes, and to be fair, this one actually matters. The co-main? Alycia Baumgardner puts her undisputed super featherweight crown on the line against Spain’s unbeaten Jennifer Miranda. MVP loves to hype, and this time they’re bringing some real firepower.

Joe Hand III, president of JHP, is already lining up the sales pitch: “Two of the biggest events of the summer…we’re proud to work with Jake, Nakisa, and the MVP team again…bars and restaurants across North America are in for an unforgettable summer.”

Nakisa Bidarian, MVP’s co-founder, is sticking to the script: “Our expanded partnership with JHP allows us to bring these blockbuster events to sports bars, restaurants, casinos, and commercial venues…Together, we’re setting a new standard for how live boxing is experienced outside the arena.”

Translation? They’re making sure your local pub is packed and the drinks are flowing while the cash rolls in.

JHP will handle the full rollout: sales, marketing, promo kits, and, of course, its handy OnTap Sports bar finder tool—so you can figure out exactly where to watch Paul throw hands with Chávez Jr. and see if Serrano can finally flip the script against Taylor.

In the end, it’s simple: MVP’s keeping the summer loud and the bars full. Whether the fights deliver? That’s another question entirely.
