Shields vs. Daniels card beefs up with Worthington-Piteau and Veyre-Boudersa — WBA Interim title and WBC eliminator added to July 26 DAZN show

Claressa Shields isn’t the only one chasing glory in Detroit on July 26. Salita Promotions just confirmed two high-stakes women’s bouts added to the DAZN PPV undercard of Shields vs. Lani Daniels — and both could shape world title trajectories at junior welterweight and featherweight.

Undefeated Kentucky powerhouse Samantha Worthington (11-0, 7 KOs) will clash with France’s Victoire Piteau (14-2, 2 KOs) for the vacant WBA Interim Junior Welterweight World Title. Meanwhile, Canada’s Caroline Veyre (9-1), the reigning WBC International featherweight champion, faces Licia Boudersa (23-3-2, 4 KOs) in a WBC Featherweight World Title Eliminator.

Both bouts carry serious implications — and both might end up stealing the show under the undisputed main event.

Worthington looks to detonate the 140 division — Piteau aims to spoil the rise

Samantha Worthington has the engine, the hands, and now the stage. Promoted by Claressa Shields herself and backed by Salita Promotions, Worthington’s looking to torch her way into the title conversation with Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano hovering just one fight away.

“This isn’t just a career milestone—it’s part of my purpose,” Worthington said. “I’m ready to make a statement.”

Victoire Piteau’s not here for a passport stamp. She’s won five straight and sees Worthington as the roadblock between her and a full world title shot. “From now on, I continue writing my story in the United States,” she said. This is her first U.S. fight — and she’s betting everything on it.

Veyre vs. Boudersa: classic boxer vs. brawler in WBC eliminator

Caroline Veyre is what purists love. Clean punches, high IQ, and a smooth technical flow. She’s 9-1 with momentum and signed to Salita in 2024 to chase belts. Now she gets her chance.

Licia Boudersa just went to war with Beatriz Ferreira for the IBF strap — and lost on the cards. She’s been in with champions, and she knows how to take prospects into deep water.

Winner gets a shot at the WBC World Featherweight title. Loser leaves the elite conversation for a while.

  1. *Like omg* do ppl even realise what kinda deal this iz?! Shields & Veyra & Worthy girl all on one nite??!! Literal 🔥🔥🔥 event—if u miss this ur basically allergic to excitement 😂😂 pls lemme find sumone who selling tix b4 I cry fr 😭😭😭 #GirlPowerFists 💪💖

  2. *Is very good idea* to include womens fight in big boxing night! I watch Samantha before on youtub and she hit fast an strong! Even my husband say “wow” and he never watch female boxer until now 😅 Detroit will roarrrr!! Piteau better bring helmet lolol 🧠💥🥊

  3. *OH WOW* I’m sureee Victoire just came to ‘write her story’ 🤣 More like came for the paycheque and a selfie with Shields. Worthington gonna steamroll her like bulldozer 🚜 They makin it sound competitive but we kno the scriptttttt 😂😂😂

  4. **Oh sure**, NOW they care about women’s boxing just cause theres ticket to sell and DAZN need more subs 🙄 Where was all this hype when these fighters were buildin record on local cards? So transparent it’s funny. Capitalism dressed in pink gloves.

  5. *Well ackshually*, if u look at Caroline Veyre’s punch stat average from her last three bout she lands at a rate of 34% wich is higher than Boudersa by atleast 9 point % 🤓 that tells us technically she has edge, altho Boudersa has mor ring experience an can clinch in late rounds, this match-up is classic technician vs slugger scenario.

  6. This kind of fight card is not even worth paper its print on!! Who carez about interim titls anyway?? All those fake belts dont mean real champion 🗑️ And they keep talkin like Shields is savior of sport? 😂 Give me brake.

  7. i love the boxxing moovment for wemens 😍 this show gonna be very epic i mean like wow, all thos female champs fighting like lioness in detroit its unstopabul. Worthington is gon break records i feel it. Claressa is the queen but these other girls aint sleepin!!! lets goooooo 💪🥊

    • Yas Powell!! finally some respect 4 womens power 💥 I hope Veyre wins, she so smarth n classy in ringg. Boudersa too rough maybe but we see 🧐
