Walsh vs. Espadas Set for June 21: King Callum Headlines at Chumash Casino

Ireland’s unbeaten Callum Walsh (13-0, 11 KOs) will defend his WBC Continental Americas junior middleweight title on Saturday, June 21, facing Mexico’s battle-hardened Elias Espadas (23-6-1, 16 KOs) at Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California. The 10-round main event will be broadcast live worldwide on UFC Fight Pass.

Walsh, ranked #4 by the WBC and #5 by the IBF, returns to California after high-profile knockouts in Dublin and New York. Promoter Tom Loeffler said, “We’re thrilled to bring Callum back. After huge shows in Ireland and MSG, he’s ready to deliver again. Espadas just fought to a draw with an undefeated Kazakh and jumped at this challenge.”

Walsh last fought in March, crushing Scotland’s Dean Sutherland in one round at MSG. He also thrilled Irish fans in 2024 with a second-round KO of Przemyslaw Runowski in Dublin.

Espadas, trained by Manny Robles, has tangled with rising stars like Xander Zayas and Yamaguchi Falcao, and recently went 10 rounds with Sadriddin Akhmedov in a draw.

Tickets ($55–$105) are on sale now via ChumashCasino.com. This is the seventh Hollywood Fight Nights card at Chumash, and every event has sold out.
